CEFR multilevel calculator — score and level
Enter four section scores from 0 to 75. See their average, individual levels and an estimated overall B1, B2 or C1.
Each section: a whole number from 0 to 75.
Result
Complete every field to see the overall result.
Estimated calculation, not an official result. The rounding rule is an assumption.

B1 describes basic independent use, B2 covers a wider range of communication, and C1 describes more confident use in complex situations. This does not guarantee admission or benefits. A CEFR mock is planned for stage S10.
The 75-point multilevel scale
Enter whole-number scores for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking on the zero-to-seventy-five scale. Each entered section gets its own level label. The overall result appears only when all four sections are present, using their arithmetic average. The scale is below B1 under 38, B1 from 38 to 50, B2 from 51 to 64, and C1 from 65 to 75.
The displayed average has one decimal place. For assigning the overall level we round the exact average to the nearest integer, with a halfway value rounded upwards. Thus 50, 51, 50 and 51 average 50.5 and give B2 using 51. This rounding rule is an assumption. We do not convert Listening or Reading correct-answer counts into scores: use section scores already expressed on the seventy-five-point scale.
Use the calculator and keep a scenario
Start with scores you actually have, then change one input at a time to explore a realistic target. Empty fields are deliberately left empty: a missing score is not treated as zero. The result updates when you choose a value, without a separate calculation button. Your selections are included in the page address, so copying the address lets someone else open the same scenario. Changing a value updates the current address without adding a browser history entry. Reloading or sharing that address restores the valid values. The calculator runs in your browser and does not submit these values to a scoring API.
What the level can tell you
B1, B2 and C1 describe increasingly demanding language use. Use the estimate to discuss suitable learning tasks with your teacher, rather than as proof of admission eligibility or a promise of benefits. Organisations set their own requirements, and this calculator does not check them. A dedicated CEFR mock is planned for stage S10; it is not available here yet. Until then, keep your actual section scores alongside the calculated average so you can see which skill needs attention.
